Thwaites prides itself on brewing beers with just that right balance of flavours and great taste – we’ve even coined a new phrase to describe this unique Thwaites brewing idea… Drinkability - ensuring the last taste of our beer is as good as the first.
Most beers use just four, main, natural ingredients – water, malt, hops and yeast – but it is the skill of our Head Brewer and his team, built up over 200 years of craft brewing that differentiates Thwaites beers from the rest.
Back in 1807, life was relatively simple, with Thwaites brewing two cask beers (bitter & mild) and just selling to pubs in the local East Lancashire area.
Today, Daniel Thwaites’ diverse portfolio of beers, lagers and ciders are enjoyed throughout the length and breadth of the UK, both at home and in pubs and bars.
If you’re looking for quality and beers with a difference, look no further…

“Drinkability? It’s about ensuring the last taste of our beer is as good as the first.”
