Kaltenberg HELL

Kaltenberg HELL, is a 4.1% mid-strength lager and it derives its name from the German word HELLES, which means bright and refers to the colour of this refreshing, Bavarian lager.

Pint of Kaltenberg HELLIts history can be dated back to 1516, when Duke Wilhelm IV passed the German Purity Laws, or the Reinheitsgebot, in Bavaria. The Bavarian Royal Family then went on to found the Oktoberfest and the concept of beer gardens.

Now in the 21st century, Prince Luitpold, the great grandson of Ludwig III, the last King of Bavaria, still runs the Kaltenberg brewery in Bavaria.
