Fly The Wainwright Flag With Us

You may have heard that we’re celebrating taking another step along the journey with fellow Lancashire legend Alfred Wainwright by encouraging people to follow his famous walking routes.
After we successfully marked our 200-year anniversary and Wainwright’s own Centenary celebrations by launching a limited edition ale in his name, we have now unveiled a bottled version of the drink – and as part of the launch have commissioned Wainwright flags for people to raise along the walks that he made famous.
So if you fancy taking on the routes around the Lakeland Fells or any part of the Coast-to-Coast walk designed by Wainwright then apply here customerservices@thwaites.co.uk for one of the limited edition flags to take with you.
Then simply send in a picture of yourself with the Wainwright flag being flown proudly on one of the routes (as our very own Martin and Paul Shearer are doing in the picture here!), along with details of the area the picture was taken.
They will be added to a new Thwaites Wainwright gallery of walks, and the best 10 pictures received will be sent a complimentary case of the new bottles.
Pictures can be of a group enjoying the walk with a flag on display or the Wainwright memorabilia with a fantastic scenic backdrop.
