The MILLSTONE is a vibrant entertainment pub serving food, located on the high street in the centre of Darwen, Lancashire.
Trade.
Mainly wet trade driven by regular daytime trade and evening entertainment, but with potential to extend the food offering including menu development, food quality and food service times. The Millstone is a pub for all people trading throughout the day for customers of all ages and moving into more of a late night entertainment venue in the evenings, particularly weekend nights. The layout is fairly modern and open plan, with a small pool table area set aside all served by one central bar and a small catering kitchen. Whilst the pub does not show SKY sports a number of plasma screen TVs around the pub show music videos and other promotions.
The pub also has a small external heated smoking area.

I am looking for an enthusiastic management team to further develop the business at the Millstone through entrepreneurial ideas, good standards and a passionate commitment to delivering excellent service.
Applicants need to be strong, hands on managers with excellent communication skills and who will preferably have knowledge of live entertainment, catering and late night “chameleon” pub operations.
