Maintenance and Technical Services Manager

A vacancy exists within the Estates department for a Maintenance and Technical Services Manager to plan and organise maintenance/repair programmes across the estate within approved budgets and timescales.

MAIN DUTIES

• Develop and manage the building services planned preventative maintenance programme to minimise reactive maintenance costs and to ensure best value is attained at all times with minimum inconvenience to guests.

• Provide technical and managerial support to the Hotels’ and Inns Management and in particular Maintenance Managers/Engineers.

• Prepare and implement Annual General Maintenance Budgets.

• Carry out rolling programme refurbishments and small improvement projects.

• Ensure that all procedures and records are in place to satisfy statutory authorities as applicable to maintenance including health and safety.

• Regularly through the year meet with General Managers and review maintenance progress.

• Monitor and control utility costs and assist in sustainability issues.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a related management role is essential, preferably with experience of multi-site maintenance.
• Experience of a similar industry would be an advantage
• Electrical and/or Maintenance qualification equivalent to HNC or higher is essential.
• A Full driving licence is required as the role involved regular visits across the estate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, time management and the ability to work within deadlines skills are essential

Telesales Operator

MATERNITY COVER - Up to 12 months, fixed term.

Applications are invited for the position of Telesales Operator (Part Time 3 days week, MON-WED) within the Commercial Department.  Reporting to the Marketing Services Manager the details are as follows:-

MAIN DUTIES

• Selling the Company’s range of branded portfolio B2B

• Maintain and update customer records and manage call pools

• Promote and sell-in pre agreed marketing initiatives and activities

• Actively seek to sell-up brands

• Achievement of targets

• Liaise with internal departments with regard to customer service issues

• Build relationships with customers


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous sales experience essential

• Knowledge of Company products and experience within the drinks industry would be an advantage

• Good standard of education with IT/keyboard skills

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Professional, polite telephone manner

• Flexibility is required, in particular working additional hours as required during peak business periods
