We welcome groups of all shapes and sizes, be it a family get-together, a reunion with friends or just a relaxing break with those you love. If you do decide to bring along your family and friends we will require a 25% deposit for bookings of 5 rooms or more. This deposit will be taken at the time of the reservation. If you love to plan ahead and book with us 8 weeks in advance of your visit, a 2nd deposit of a further 25% is required 4 weeks before you join us. Deposits are non refundable.

We are a dog friendly inn with dog friendly rooms especially for you and your best friend. All we ask is you bring your own dog bed and towels out of consideration for the other guests – it’s hard to keep spotlessly clean when there are so many great places to explore on long walk in the Yorkshire Dales.
We do charge £15 per stay for your dog to join you in your room; this is so we can give the room the extra special attention needed afterwards to ensure is pristine for the next arrivals. 10% of this charge is donated to the SARDA (Search and Rescue Dog Association).
If you wish to bring your four-legged friend along, please let us know at the time of booking and we’ll prepare your dog friendly room. Please don’t just arrive with your pooch as we might not be able to accommodate them in one of our designated room.
You’re welcome to arrive and check-in any time after 2pm but if you’re going to arrive later than 6pm, please let us know so we don’t worry about and send out the search party.
Stay A Little Longer
Normal check-out time is 11am. But if you’d like to stay in your room until 2pm, please ask for a late check-out. We’ll always do our best to oblige, and if available, a £10 supplement will apply.

You will always see the lowest rates on offer anywhere if you book direct with us – either online or by calling us on 01729 822203.
We will ask you for a credit card to guarantee your stay at the time of booking, but will not charge your card until you stay with us.
We do accept all major credit and debit cards but we’re sorry we can only accept cheques as payment 14 days prior to arrival.
We understand that plans sometimes need to change and as long as you cancel your booking before 10am on the day before you’re due to arrive, there will be no charge. Bookings cancelled after 10am on the day before you’re due to arrive will be charged for the first night’s stay. No Shows will be charged for the first night’s stay.
