Brides say ‘I do’ to Kings Arms Valentine’s Meal

It’ll be a case of here come the brides at the Kings Arms in Burton near Kendal on Valentine’s Day, where ladies donning their wedding dress receive a free meal for two.
Blushing brides and their spouse can enjoy a meal worth £30 for free on 14th February, simply by wearing their wedding dress. The Thwaites owned pub is serving a special, three course set menu with a choice of tasty dishes including chicken stuffed with pancetta and sun-dried tomato with dauphinoise potatoes, slow-cooked lamb in a red wine sauce, sharing chocolate fondue and crème brulee.
Landlady Ann France said: “So many brides only get to wear their wedding dress on their big day, now we’re giving them the perfect opportunity to again.
“We just want to make Valentine’s Day fun and for couples to have a giggle and hopefully bring back fond memories of their big day.”
The offer is available on Tuesday, 14th February only. To qualify for the offer the table must be booked beforehand and patrons must stipulate if they’ll be dining in their wedding dress. The three course £30 special menu is also available on Monday, 13th February. To book your table call 01524 781409.
