New Promotional Price and Support for LCL from Thwaites

Lancashire-based brewer Thwaites is supporting its premium lager brand LCL Pils with additional investment and a new on pack promotional price for 2012.
The 5% ABV premium lager, which has its roots in north east, will feature a consumer price marked £4.49 on all retail four packs. The new look packaging will be supported with POS kits for retailers.
The price offer equates to a saving of between 40 to 50 pence per four pack based on current pricing on shelves in north east stores. The offer will be on pack in the run up to Easter.
Lee Williams, marketing manager of Thwaites commented: “We’re supporting LCL with significant investment over the next few months and trialling how successful the promotional pricing strategy proves in the north east, where the product already sells so well. This could lead to a national roll-out of the promotion.”
Richard Errington, commercial director of Peter Lowries & Co, said: “LCL is a much loved brand and a strong seller in the north east region. This attractive consumer price coupled with promotional support from Thwaites will appeal to our customers and guarantee that it performs well into the new year.”
