How to Apply

If you have found a pub that you would like to apply for or if you would like to make a general application, it couldn’t be easier. If you have found a pub vacancy that is of interest to you or are interested in finding out more about running your own pub you need to do your homework.

If you are new to the pub business you may wish to complete the Bii’s Pre Entry Awareness Training (PEAT) – this is an online training package that will help you identify the main issues which need to be considered before signing a pub tenancy with us. If you haven’t already done so, go and work in a pub to see if the lifestyle is for you. You will also need to have a Personal Licence before you can run your own pub.

If you’ve found a pub, go and visit the pub as a customer and have a look at the surrounding area. Is this the right pub and location for you?
