What Happens Next?

Once you have registered your application form with us, you will shortly be contacted by one of our recruitment team who will arrange to meet you for a more detailed discussion either about a particular pub vacancy or in more general terms.

If you are interested in a particular pub tenancy the ABM will arrange for you to have a viewing ‘behind the scenes’. You will need to prepare a business plan and financial forecast to help you present your ideas and also show that you have looked into the business in detail. At your meeting with the ABM you will be provided with trading and licensing information together with a copy of our Code of Practice that will help you prepare your plans for the pub.

If you are successful with your application then an offer will be made to you in writing. You will also be provided with our support manual ‘Tapping into Great Support’ that will give you a step-by-step guide to setting yourself up in business and developing your pub.

You should take any necessary professional advice before confirming acceptance of the offer. A full list of industry professionals is available via your ABM or in the useful documents section. You will also receive the necessary training and be booked onto our TULIP induction training programme prior to going into your pub so you have the best possible start to your new business.

We will then agree a change over date – congratulations!
