Daniel Thwaites has acquired the Harts Head Hotel, Giggleswick, further expanding its reach into the Yorkshire Dales.
The pub is the third acquisition for the company in as many months, as it recently announced it had bought the Pendle Inn, Barley, and the Hare and Hounds, Foulridge.
The Harts Head is an historic inn at the heart of the picturesque village of Giggleswick, a popular local as well as a great stopover for visitors to the area and along with a bar and restaurant, it has seven en-suite letting bedrooms.
Executive Chairman at Daniel Thwaites, Rick Bailey, said: “The Harts Head is a great pub – similar to other properties we have bought recently, with a great bar, homemade food and some lovely bedrooms.”
“There is so much to love about the Yorkshire Dales; it’s unspoilt and has wild, wide open spaces – the perfect place to get away to walk, bike or just enjoy the solitude of the great outdoors; within a few miles you can even take on the challenge of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. We already have a number of properties in the local area, they are all well run, lovely pubs and we look forward to the Harts Head joining in their success.”
