A day of family entertainment and live music is taking place at the Dog Inn, Brindle in Chorley, to raise money for organisations supporting veterans.
Fionnuala, Matt Phillips, Jonny Norton and Outsmarted are some of the bands who will be performing at Dog Fest on Saturday, August 3.
There will be plenty of other entertainment from 12noon, including Starlight Kids, Pyrography and artistry as well as face painting, raffle and an appearance from the famous Thwaites Shire horses.
Dog Fest will raise money for Help for Heroes, a Veterans breakfast hosted by the Dog Inn and a Pensioners Christmas dinner.
It also celebrates the arrival of Maz and David Biggs, who took over the Chorley Old Road pub last month.
David, who is a veteran himself and who grew up in the local area, said: “We have been made to feel so welcome since we took over the pub and we can’t wait to get more involved with the local community.
“This one day festival is our housewarming party and we’re really excited with the line-up we have already – and there’ll be much more going on.
“We would love to meet as many people as we can on the day and of course it’s raising money for some great local causes.”
