Daniel Thwaites has received a prestigious award in recognition of its health and safety practices.
It achieved a RoSPA silver award for a high level of performance underpinned by good management systems.
Matt Schofield, Health and Safety Manager at Daniel Thwaites, said: “Keeping our guests, visitors and team members safe is paramount to us and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
“Every member of our organisation plays a part in making that happen and this award is a testament to the work we have put into that.
“Over the last two years, we have developed and implemented robust due diligence processes and documentations in every single one of our managed properties, along with our brewery, stables and head office.
“With a geographical area spreading the length and breadth of the country, it’s been no easy feat but it has now been given a seal of approval through this award by RoSPA, which isat the heart of accident prevention.
“Of course our work is not done yet – we are striving for the gold award next.”
RoSPA receives submissions from organisations around the world and their awards recognise achievement in health and safety management systems.
Each is assessed on all aspects of health, safety and well-being.
