The Rose and Crown Pub has started free beer deliveries following coronavirus outbreak

The Rose and Crown pub in Bebington starts to deliver beer this Saturday following the coronavirus outbreak in the UK. The pub will be delivering Thwaites Cask Beer and Aspalls Cider to members of the community.
Those who want to have beer delivered simply pay a £5 deposit for a 4 pint container along with the usual drinks price and a free delivery will be made between 3pm and 5pm on Saturdays. Contactless payments can also be arranged.
James Skinner, who runs the Rose and Crown, said: “We think it’s a great idea. We will be staying open but we know some people will opt to stay at home so we thought why not deliver? People still want their beer and those who might be in self-isolation can’t go out so we will bring it to you! It’s a great way to keep supporting local pubs and we think it will prove to be popular!”
The pub is still open for business.
