Proper Pub Food
At our inns we champion seasonal produce in properly cooked dishes that hit the sweet spot between pub grub and fine dining – in hill walkers’ portions, naturally.
From brunch to lunch and dinner, via afternoon tea and cocktail hour, our skilled chefs use honest ingredients to make seriously nice things that don’t take themselves too seriously. We love using food from the places we call home – including our very own Thwaites ale – to put a twist on timeless dishes. The talent and passion of local producers gives our menus their distinct personalities.

What’s more welcoming than a roaring fire? Feel instantly at home at our laid-back FYR Grill – then taste the magical effect of open flames on good ingredients.
Every season brings freshness at the Curious Kitchen. Vibrant dishes inspired by global flavours and classic recipes feed conversation as well as glad tummies.
